The medial neck bands are located by instructing the patient to contract the platysma muscle. Injection points are marked, and the skin is prepared with alcohol. Using a 30-gauge needle, botulinum toxin is injected intramuscularly at multiple points along each neck band, starting at least 2 cm below the jaw and moving inferiorly.
